Job summary

EVI LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer Site Supervisor to lead on-site installation, commissioning and maintenance of life safety systems in high-rise and occupied buildings.

You will supervise engineers and subcontractors, ensure compliance with BS 5839/8629 and NSI/SSAIB, carry out site surveys, read drawings, and maintain health and safety standards. A minimum of 5 years in fire safety, SSSTS or equivalent, and a UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• SSSTS or equivalent supervisory qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and Right to Work in the UK.
• Sound working knowledge of BS 5839, BS 8629, NSI/SSAIB, BAFE standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, commission, and fault-find life safety systems.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide junior engineers and subcontractors on site.
• Lead works on high-rise developments and occupied buildings.
• Read, interpret, and work from drawings and system schematics.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on live sites.
• Complete documentation, reports, and certification.
