We are seeking a talented individual to join our FINPRO Claims team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will be part of the FINPRO Claims Advocacy Team which forms part of the Marsh UK based predominantly in London. The team at Marsh services a significant number of large, global businesses across industries including banking, asset and fund management, insurance and fintech.

The role will involve responsibility for delivering a comprehensive claims service to Marsh’s clients with a focus on technical coverage expertise across D&O, Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines claims and crime losses.

We will count on you to:

  • Demonstrate technical ability, market knowledge and the personality to build relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Guide clients through complex insurance claims as an advocate on behalf of Marsh clients with insurers.
  • Contribute to thought leadership on issues affecting clients.
  • Provide training for placing and claims colleagues.
  • Provide support to the wider FINPRO team through the feedback of claims intelligence to product development colleagues.
  • Work closely with global clients, overseas Marsh offices and other colleagues in providing strategic, technical and tactical claims coverage advice.
  • Part of the wider team and a valuable contributor to winning and retaining clients through service delivery and results.
  • Support the business in winning and retaining clients – participate in client RFP processes.
  • Capture actionable, aggregate claims data for use by clients in future pre-incident planning and risk management.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience of claims management for large corporates with significant claims volumes as well as complex individual losses.
