Senior Financial Services Administrator

Nottinghamshire (our Ref AL1318)

Salary £28,500 - £32,000 dep on exp + full benefits package and hybrid working after probation period

My client is an award-winning IFA and they now have an exciting opportunity for an individual with 2-3 years experience within a wealth management organisation to join their team as a Senior Financial Services Administrator.

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • To compile basic suitability reports from structured templates. E.g., fund switches, OEIC to ISA, and client review letters
  • Preparing research, agendas, and paperwork for client review meetings
  • Being responsible for following process and procedures
  • To act as a liaison point for clients and providers
  • To maintain and update client information, within Iress Xplan and AWS Morningstar
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
  • To provide advanced business support for Financial Planners, working within agreed business objectives
  • Maintain compliance to company policies and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations including the Consumer Duty
  • Providing accurate information to the management team when requested
  • To be proactive and able to multi-task whilst providing research, client valuations and processing new business

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications Required:
  • Organised, be able to prioritise your own workloads and be able to work using your own initiative
  • Numerate - have good analytical skills
  • Excellent standard of written & verbal communication
  • Ability to empathise and build strong business relationships
  • Proactive, with an ability to multi-task and possess the ability to search out solutions
  • Ability to interpret data and produce recommendations with supporting evidence
  • IT Literate and be competent in the use of:
  • Morningstar, XPLAN and other industry analysis tools
  • Back-office systems, preferably Iress Xplan
  • MS Office and Excel
  • Have 2-3 years ' relevant experience, within an administration role in Financial Services
  • Experience within report writing
