Senior Financial Services Administrator

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 remote)

Salary: A£30,000 - A£40,000 + benefits (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are looking for someone ready to be part of a transformative journey in financial services?

MDG Professional Services Ltd. is looking for a driven professional to join our team in a role that blends operational excellence with technological innovation. This is not a typical administrative role - it is an opportunity to be at the heart of a pioneering financial services firm, driving both efficiency and growth.

Why Join MDG?

We are a forward-thinking, Chartered Financial Planning practice on a mission to revolutionise the way financial services operate. We blend trusted wealth management expertise with cutting-edge technology, including:

  1. AI-driven tools like automated transcription and voice-activated task management.
  2. A collaborative platform (MDG Partners) designed to streamline professional alliances in law and tax advisory services.

Our firm is scaling fast, and your role will be crucial in implementing modern processes while supporting our strategic vision for growth.

We are building a multi-million-pound practice founded on Professionalism, Enjoyment, Efficiency, Commercial Success, and Holistic Planning. This role is central to achieving that vision.

Role and Responsibilities:

This is an opportunity to be a key driver in modernising financial planning. While there will be essential administrative tasks, the focus is on process improvement, operational leadership, and career development.

You will:

  1. Help simplify processes, including automation of meeting transcription, task management, and data organisation.
  2. Act as the first point of contact for clients and professional partners, ensuring high service standards and proactive relationship management.
  3. Assist in clearing a backlog of cases by organising client files, following up on outstanding tasks, and ensuring timely submissions.
  4. Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for automation and smarter working practices using AI tools.
  5. Pursue industry-recognised qualifications, supported by MDG, with exposure to advanced financial planning strategies and cash flow forecasting.
  6. Operate cutting-edge software to collaborate with our panel of selected professional associates in providing clients with genuinely holistic wealth management.

The ideal candidate:

This role requires a proactive individual with a growth mindset. You should be:

  1. Technically competent with strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and Word) and an openness to learning new technologies like AI transcription tools.
  2. Client-focused with the ability to manage relationships with clients and professional partners, ensuring exceptional service.
  3. Comfortable handling multiple tasks, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  4. Interested in a long-term career in financial services, with a focus on professional development and obtaining qualifications.
  5. Able to manage time effectively in a hybrid working model with a results-driven approach.
  6. Have previous Financial Services Planning experience and understand the accuracy this industry demands.

Benefits:

  1. Competitive salary of A£30,000 - A£40,000, based on experience and seniority.
  2. Additional quality benefits available on completing initial service.
  3. Full sponsorship for professional qualifications (e.g., CII, CISI).
  4. Be part of a tech-driven firm leveraging AI for smarter operations.
  5. Supported by direct access to our international IT development team.
  6. Work three days in the office with two days remote after initial training.
  7. Flexible working hours for a balanced lifestyle.
