Job summary

Confidential in Chesterfield is seeking a Senior Financial Services Administrator to lead and develop a small team, ensuring high-quality client services. This permanent, office-based role is based near Chesterfield, offering a 35-hour week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and a salary of £32,000–£36,000 DOE.

The position reports to the Operational Director and provides genuine career progression within a supportive environment, with responsibilities including team development, service delivery

Qualifications

• Ideally, 1–2 years of experience in Financial Services Administration.
• Experience in wealth management, IFA, pensions, investments or financial planning environments.
• Proven ability to mentor and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of up to four Financial Services Administrators.
• Oversee day-to-day administration activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Provide guidance and performance feedback to team members and conduct reviews.
• Allocate workloads and monitor workflows across the team.
• Support Paraplanners and wider administration colleagues.
• Ensure client documentation is processed accurately within timescales.
• Liaise with advisers, paraplanners and clients to maintain service levels.
• Maintain FCA regulatory compliance and internal procedures.
