Zusammenfassung

Orange Malone Ltd. is seeking a Senior Financial Risk Analyst to join its second line risk function in the United Kingdom. You will provide independent oversight of financial risks, including ALM, hedging, internal ratings and risk reporting to executive and board committees.

The role also covers actuarial assumptions, BPA deals, reinsurance, and contributing to ORSA and risk appetite frameworks.

Qualifikationen

• Financial risk management experience in life insurance or pensions, from first or second line.
• Understanding investments in life or pensions, credit risk and illiquid assets.
• ALM experience or strong awareness of asset-liability management.

• Oversight and challenge of how financial risks are managed in the insurer.
• Credit risk management and ALM incl. hedging and internal ratings.
• Independent validation of model components and tracking findings.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer

A bulk purchase annuity insurer is looking for a Senior Financial Risk Analyst to join its second line risk function.

You’ll provide independent oversight and challenge of how financial risks are managed, including:

• Credit risk management and ALM, including hedging
• Internal credit ratings of assets
• Matching Adjustment applications and related risks
• Independent validation of the Partial Internal Model, and tracking of findings
• Actuarial assumptions and methodologies
• BPA deals, reinsurance arrangements and investment activity
• You’ll also contribute to the ORSA, the risk appetite framework and risk reporting to executive and board committees.

• What you'll bring
• Financial risk management experience in life insurance or pensions, from the first or second line
• Understanding of investments in the life or pensions sector, ideally credit risk and illiquid assets
• ALM experience or good awareness
• Knowledge of the UK regulatory environment
• Actuarial experience, or equivalent experience in credit risk management
• Clear communication and the ability to influence and build relationships
