Johnston Carmichael seeks a skilled manager to oversee accounts preparation for a portfolio of audited clients, including complex consolidation work, ensuring high-quality outputs under UK GAAP and IFRS. You will lead a team, train juniors, and work closely with Directors and Partners to deliver results in line with firm policies.

The role offers hybrid working with flexible location across the UK, and opportunities to advance through JC Aspire and Leadership Development programmes.

Qualifikationen

• You will have management experience overseeing a portfolio of companies within corporate audit.
• Qualified CA or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Experience with UK statutory accounts for audited (non-small) companies and consolidations.
• In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and understanding of IFRS and UK Company Law.
• Experience with CCH Accounts Production is strongly desired.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to lead and influence.
• Experience supervising staff and driving development.

Aufgaben

• Plan and manage statutory financial statements for a portfolio of audited clients (medium/large).
• Prepare complex consolidation models and financial statements using Word, Excel, and CCH Accounts Production.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and provide high-level client advice.
• Support Directors in delivering advisory work and grow the department.
• Manage and develop junior staff to achieve goals and development.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and cross-department collaboration.
• Act as principal client contact for day-to-day financial reporting and deadlines.
