Job summary

Marc Daniels is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join a market-leading Group Finance team. You will own key elements of external reporting, including draft statutory accounts and IFRS disclosures, with exposure to group consolidations and high-visibility projects.

Ideal candidate is newly qualified ACA/ACCA (0–2 PQE) from practice, with strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge, year-end audit experience, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to explain complex accounting to non-finance

Qualifications

• Newly qualified ACA/ACCA (0–2 years PQE) from practice.
• Strong audit or financial reporting background.
• Solid IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with year-end audits and external auditors.
• Strong Excel; ERP/consolidation experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver elements of the external reporting cycle, including draft statutory accounts and IFRS disclosures.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and statutory accounts for UK and overseas entities.
• Lead on technical accounting research and IFRS standard implementations.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, group journals and intercompany activity.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax and corporate finance through year-end.
• Support process improvements and ERP/systems projects in reporting.
• Mentor junior accountants in the reporting team.
