Senior Financial Planning Analyst

Are you an experienced FP&A professional looking to step into a high-impact role with real strategic influence? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your insights truly shape business direction?

The Role: Senior Financial Planning Analyst

Reporting directly to the Head of Group FP&A, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of the Group. Acting as a key business partner to senior stakeholders across Finance and Commercial teams, you'll deliver meaningful analysis, influence strategic decisions, and help lead financial planning and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Business partnering with senior leaders to understand performance and deliver financial insights

  • Ownership of monthly board and executive reporting

  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes

  • Building and maintaining complex financial models to drive decision-making

  • Supporting strategic projects and investment cases with robust analysis

  • Driving continuous process improvements and best-practice reporting

  • Supporting procurement initiatives to ensure best value for spend

What You'll Need to Succeed as an FP&A:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) - essential

  • Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, data tools); PowerBI knowledge highly desirable

  • Strong commercial acumen and confident presenting to senior stakeholders

  • Analytical, proactive, and thrives on solving complex business problems

  • Experience in software or SaaS industries is a plus

  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing competing priorities
