Job Description:

Gleeson Recruitment Group is working with a client based in the Burton area seeking a commercially minded finance professional to join their FP&A team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and implementing a new planning system. You will also lead the finance element of capital investment projects, working closely with wider business teams.

Your responsibilities include developing financial models, producing meaningful analysis, and partnering with senior leaders to support strategic decisions. You will prepare regular reporting packs that provide clear insights into business performance against budgets and forecasts.

The company offers a salary between £45,000 and £55,000, with a flexible work arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain models for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
• Support the rollout across the business
• Manage FX modelling in line with hedging policies
• Provide short- and long-term cash flow forecasts
• Deliver financial insights across operational areas
• Work with senior leaders to improve cost centre reporting
• Lead financial aspects of capital projects, from budgeting through post-implementation review
• Support monthly results analysis and reporting with core and commercial finance teams
• Produce monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Help build the FP&A function, including mentoring future team members
