Job summary

Cooper Parry Wealth in Manchester is expanding its client services team and seeking a Senior Financial Planning Administrator to support paraplanners and relationship managers. You’ll own client data, onboarding new clients and delivering first-class service in a fast-growing wealth practice.

You’ll have 3+ years in financial planning administration, experience with HNWI, and ideally a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in administration for a Financial Planning firm.
  • Experience with HNWI clients and products (pensions, ISAs, trusts, bonds).
  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (desirable).
  • Aspirations to lead a team.
  • Strong listening and questioning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding internal support and client experience.
  • Lead onboarding of new clients and servicing existing ones.

As a Senior Financial Planning Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of a fast-growing, high-performing team that’s redefining what “best in class” service looks like.

In this role, you’ll be a key player supporting Paraplanners, Relationship Managers, and the wider team—making a real impact every day. Expect variety, challenge, and the chance to grow your career in a business that’s scaling fast. You’ll be:

  • Managing and administering clients’ assets and implementing new advice
  • Owning client data, keeping it accurate, up-to-date, and ready to deliver an exceptional service
  • Communicating with clients regularly, including supporting meetings
  • Leading the onboarding of new clients and servicing existing ones
  • Preparing, coordinating, and following up on client meetings; owning the actions and driving outcomes
  • Delivering outstanding internal support and an unforgettable client experience

About you…

As a Senior Financial Planning Administrator, you will work well under pressure whilst managing a varied workload, endeavouring to be highly organised and focused. We are looking for someone who is proactive and positive to help motivate the team, with a high attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills. To really pull it off you need to:

  • Have a passion for financial planning with 3 or more years experience working in administration for a Financial Planning firm
  • Have experience working directly with a client back of HNWI and experience and exposure working on a variety of products e.g. pensions, ISAs, trusts, Bonds
  • Be working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (desirable)
  • Be keen to develop with aspirations to one day lead a team
  • Be a great listen and ask great questions
  • Build strong relationships that create trust, open dialogue and be able to give and accept feedback
  • Strive in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Be self-motivated to take ownership of your own learning and development
  • Have a desire to want to motivate, innovate and encourage
