Job summary

Chubb is seeking a Senior Financial Lines Underwriter to join the National Underwriting Centre in Manchester. The role requires 3 days a week in the office and focuses on offline renewal portfolios across the UK & Ireland, with a strong emphasis on D&O, PTL, EPL, Crime, PI, and Cyber.

You will coach colleagues, develop team capability, and maintain an external network while upholding Chubb's standards of underwriting integrity, service, and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong technical experience in Financial Lines products (D&O, PTL, EPL, Crime, PI/Cyber).
• Experience handling large, complex renewals and portfolios.
• Excellent relationship-building with brokers and external networks.
• Ability to coach colleagues and develop team capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and retain a portfolio of larger, complex renewals.
• Ensure underwriting decisions are made with integrity and high service levels.
• Coach and support colleagues within the team.
• Attend external meetings to maintain broker relations.
• Build external reputation and ambassador for the Chubb brand.
• Drive cross-sell opportunities within Financial Lines and wider P&C.
• Uphold Chubb's core values and service standards.
