Job summary

Frontier Economics in London seeks a seasoned Financial Controller to own monthly close, balance sheet integrity and rich management reporting across UK and international operations. You will lead the Financial Control team, maintain rigorous accounting policies and support external audits.

The role requires qualified accountant status with extensive experience in financial reporting, project accounting, revenue recognition and working capital management.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound financial judgement.
• Excellent attention to detail and technical accounting knowledge.
• Commercially aware and internationally minded, able to operate across offices.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly financial close process and management reporting.
• Maintain rigor in balance sheet reconciliations and ledger integrity.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and WIP controls.
• Develop and maintain reporting for month-end close and strategic finance decisions.
• Support external audits and statutory financial reporting.
