Job summary

DOT Partners in Lancashire, United Kingdom, seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead finance operations across multi-site groups, manage management accounts, and drive financial controls.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, oversee month-end, cashflow, budgeting, and mentor the finance team in a fast-paced PE-backed environment. This senior leadership role offers hybrid working and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Strong background in financial control and management accounting.
• Experience leading finance operations in multi-site or fast-paced environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Confident organizing and developing teams; driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance operations including management accounts, AP, AR, bank reconciliations and cash management.
• Own the month-end process and ensure timely financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Produce consolidated monthly management accounts and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Manage working capital, cashflow forecasting, supplier payments and debtor management.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the business.
• Provide commercial analysis on P&L, profitability and cashflow trends.
• Drive improvements in financial controls, reconciliations and processes.
• Support statutory audits and year-end requirements.
• Partner with operations leadership to improve financial performance.
• Lead, develop and mentor finance team members.
