We're looking for a talented individual to join our Finance Controlling Department as the Senior Controller for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Key objectives
To ensure effective planning and communication around reporting cycles, guaranteeing the timely delivery of high-quality financial reports to stakeholders, including the UK executive and the parent group. Additionally, close collaboration with internal Asset Management, Leasing, and Finance teams is essential to produce accurate and communicated UK financial and operational results and forecasts.
What you will be doing...
- Preparation of the Quarterly Forecasts (QFR) for the UK business and related presentations to senior management.
- Full responsibility for the 5-year business plan (5ybp) process and presentation to both the UK & Group Senior Executive team.
- Maintain forecasting models every quarter and yearly basis for 5ybp.
- Detailed analysis of actual and forecast NRI and Capital, including the impact of strategic initiatives/transactions.
- Quarterly tracking of key Operational KPI's for Leasing deals and Vacancy.
- Quarterly forecasting of Sales-based rent using the PlanIT model, including analysis of future sales of tenants and pipeline of leasing deals.
- Preparation and collating of data for the Monthly Business Report presented to the Regional Management Team.
- Set up of new entities for reporting when changes in business structure are due to acquisitions and disposals.
- Take an active part in related discussions with senior UK and Group management.
- Work with URW Global Group planning team on UK input into Group forecasts.
- Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders and internal teams, and interrogate and analyse data for presentation in UK and Group results reporting.
- Work with Consolidation & Accounting and Asset Finance teams to ensure alignment of reporting practices and various financial reporting outputs.
- Line management of Controller - D&C, including: support with learning and development, review of monthly leasing and vacancy reports, quarterly review of covenant reporting packs.
- Support group treasury in bond issues/capital raising initiatives.
- Quarterly rent collection monitoring and reporting to Group on updated position for URW results.
