EA First is partnering with a major international logistics business to recruit an experienced Financial Controller on a 15-month fixed-term contract. The role is Southampton-based with travel to an Essex location approximately twice per month, and involves owning financial control and reporting across UK operations.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, the successful candidate will lead a team, manage audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive improvements in processes and systems

Qualifikationen

• Professional finance/accounting qualification required.
• Proven track record in financial control and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of UK and international accounting standards.
• Experience leading a finance team under tight deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Overseeing financial control across revenue, operational costs, capex and cash flow.
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining strong accounting controls.
• Supporting statutory accounts, VAT, CIS and other regulatory reporting.
• Managing internal and external audit activity and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Driving improvements across finance systems, cash forecasting and processes.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to support business performance, planning and strategic objectives.
• Managing key banking relationships and supporting funding requirements.
• Leading and developing Finance team.
