Your Job

Phillips Medisize is seeking a Finance Business Partner with strong analytical and communication skills to join our team! This high exposure role will partner with cross-functional teams to support the analysis of key bets driving our future growth initiatives. The selected candidate will be strong in financial modelling, economic thinking, and the decision-making framework to ensure we are executing on our strategic initiatives and creating superior value for the enterprise.

What You Will Do

  1. Platforms Segment Finance Business Partner: Participate as an influential thought partner within the Platforms segment team. This part of the medical division is a key growth initiative to bring Phillips Medisize products to market efficiently. Support significant growth opportunities in this segment with strengths in strategic planning and financial analysis.
  2. Strategy Steward: Support front-end processes to ensure new business opportunities align with the organization’s vision and product strategy. Collaborate across teams to review and enhance strategic plans and business cases.
  3. DMF Champion: Provide financial modelling, challenge, and key inputs to support decision-making for new programs and business opportunities, working closely with business partners to gather and analyze key information.
  4. Reporting & Project Accountability: Develop knowledge systems and communicate the impact of key initiatives on business health. Support management reporting at various levels, including ad-hoc reports for decision-making.
  5. Forecasting & Planning: Collaborate with departments to build and refine financial forecasts, manage capital investment spend, and challenge resource demands, ensuring clear communication and expectations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance or a related role.
  2. University degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
  3. Excellent data and financial modelling skills.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and visually using various software tools.
  5. Ability to work under tight deadlines with accuracy.
  6. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  7. Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  8. Strong economic and critical thinking skills with the ability to challenge constructively at all levels.
  9. Results-driven attitude.

What Will Put You Ahead

  1. Strong systems knowledge, with SAP being a plus.
  2. Experience in a commercial organization is advantageous.
