Job summary

A leading infrastructure business is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst based in Leeds. This commercially driven role involves producing management reports and providing financial insights to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified with experience in project accounting, capable of managing relationships and supporting our finance team.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified (or equivalent) with some PQE working in a commercial business.
• Practical working knowledge of overhead costs and budget v actual reporting.
• Project Accounting experience.

Job Description:

Marks Sattin are working with a leading London-based infrastructure business who has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team.

A commercially driven role, the successful candidate will manage their time across a diverse range of projects and people in the organisation. A high-profile role that will give you exposure to all senior stakeholders across the business; demonstrating the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment is key.

In this role you will be responsible for producing timely, accurate management reports by preparing information to support Directors on project pipeline, commercial support, monthly overhead cost report and analysis to budgets.

The Role

• As a business partner you will be working closely with Partners and Directors of the business to provide analysis and commercial insight into actual and forecast finance data.
• Establish and build key relationships with business unit directors, supporting ad hoc projects as required.
• Work with FP&A teams in preparation of the annual budgets and quarterly reports.
• Have control and ownership of monthly overhead reports, for UK functions.
• Assist with the analytical review of month end results against budget/forecast.

Your Profile

• ACA qualified (or equivalent) with some PQE working in a commercial business.
• Practical working knowledge of overhead costs and budget v actual reporting
• Project Accounting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills: able to persuade, influence and collaborate with all stakeholders of the company.
• Construction/Property Industry knowledge is an advantage.
