The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their Finance team. This role offers excellent career development potential in a business that values innovation and analytical thinking. Reporting to the Financial Planning Manager, you will play a key role in providing financial insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Produce accurate and timely financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
2. Develop and monitor KPIs and metrics to track business performance
3. Contribute to monthly management accounts and variance analysis
4. Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
5. Provide analytical support for business initiatives and investment decisions
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights
7. Identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
8. Prepare ad-hoc analysis and financial models as required

Requirements

1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 1-3 years post-qualification experience
2. Strong background in financial planning and analysis within a commercial environment
3. Experience in internal and external reporting
4. Proven track record in developing and monitoring KPIs and performance metrics
5. Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools similar to Power BI
6. Experience with consolidation platforms would be highly advantageous
7. Advanced Excel skills and aptitude for learning new systems
8. Excellent attention to detail with analytical problem-solving abilities
9. Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
