Senior Financial Administrator
Normanton - Fully site-based, with on-site parking
£30,000

Your new role

This role will primarily be responsible for managing the buying and selling of company shares, as well as organising and conducting workshops at various locations to educate employees and stakeholders on share schemes and associated processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that share transactions are handled efficiently and transparently, while also fostering engagement and understanding through informative workshops.

Key Duties:

  1. Administer the buying and selling of company shares in line with internal policies and regulations.
  2. Coordinate and monitor share transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance using Excel and relevant software.
  3. Assist employees and stakeholders with queries related to share ownership, transactions, and policies.
  4. Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to ensure all share-related activities comply with relevant legislation.
  5. Work closely with HR, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment with company share policies and any updates.
  6. Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding share-related matters, responding to enquiries and providing advice.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. Previous experience in share administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Strong understanding of financial markets, share schemes, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  5. Willingness to travel frequently to various office locations.
  6. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and relevant share management software.
