Job summary

About This Role

Join our Global Finance Operations team as a Senior Financial Accountant in the UK Record-to-Report (R2R) function. In this exciting role, you will:

• Lead high-quality monthly and statutory reporting.
• Drive scalable automation and deliver impactful financial insights.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure excellence and accuracy.
• Support team development in a fast-paced environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements, ensuring complete compliance.
• Analyze complex areas such as Payment Service Provider (PSP) reconciliations and staff cost forecasts.
• Coordinate balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for UK-related queries raised by Group Controllers.
• Support internal audit processes and ensure adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and controls.
• Lead UK financial system enhancements, reporting automations, and cross-functional workflow projects.
• Mentor and support the ongoing professional development of junior finance team members.

What Will You Bring to the Team?

• Full accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with relevant experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) operations.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge combined with an analytical, problem-solving mindset.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of effective teamwork.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to driving process efficiencies and business performance.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools like Power BI.
