Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting a Financial Accountant for a Wolverhampton-based aerospace client on a 12-month contract. The role sits in the Finance team at senior level, working on IFRS reporting, statutory accounts, tax packs and audits.

You will oversee accounting across four legal entities, manage audits, maintain internal controls, and drive process improvements in a hybrid role (3 days on site). ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW or equivalent qualification required.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with IFRS knowledge and statutory reporting experience.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and tax packs.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements for multiple entities.
• Oversee IFRS-compliant accounting across four legal entities.
• Lead external and group audits and manage auditors as main contact.
