A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant in Dartford to lead month-end close processes and support audits. The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant with solid experience in reporting and financial controls. This role requires immediate availability for a minimum of 3 months, with initial on-site work transitioning to a hybrid model.

As Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for leading the company through the internal audit, as well as looking after month-end.

  • Support the interim audit, liaising with external auditors and preparing required documentation
  • Play a pivotal role in integrating a newly acquired business into the financial systems and processes
  • Work independently and proactively to identify and resolve issues

Profile

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in month-end reporting and audit preparation, ideally with experience as a Professional Contractor
  • Strong understanding of business integration and financial controls
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and hit the ground running

To be considered for this role you must be available to start immediately and commit to a minimum of 3 months. You must also be prepared to travel to the office 5 days a week initially, before converting to a hybrid model once you are up and running in the role.

Job Offer

Between £300 per day and £400 per day dependent on experience (inside IR35)
