ACHIEVING FOR CHILDREN COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to lead the Transactions & Control Team. You will be key in managing financial governance and ensuring effective financial procedures, with responsibilities including preparing IFRS-compliant statements and overseeing external audits. About the role
As the Senior Financial Accountant will lead the Transactions & Control Team. You will ensure that Achieving for Children has effective financial procedures to deliver its key priorities and drive the continual improvement of services. You will support the Chief Accountant with regard to final accounts production, VAT and other tax advice inc. associated statutory and Government returns, treasury management / bank control, insurance and reporting to the various governance boards. You will be responsible for ensuring accounts payable, receivable and control functions are performed to a high standard across the organisation.
