A large NHS Trust in Manchester seeks a Financial Services Manager to enhance quality and drive improvements in patient outcomes. Key duties include setting standards for compliance, collaborating across teams, and leading the financial services team. Candidates must have a CCAB or CIMA qualification, a Master’s degree, and at least 5 years of accountancy experience. This role offers an opportunity to significantly impact healthcare finances.

You will be commercially astute, able to drive business growth and improve cash flow. A Professional Accountancy qualification (CCAB/CIMA) with current membership and a master’s degree level education (or equivalent) and significant management experience are essential.
You will set clear standards and expectations, ensure compliance with professional accountancy standards and practices, and lead the Financial Services Team in the FBU. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Charities, Accounts Receivable, Tax and Capital teams.
