Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant - Real Estate

This leading asset management business is seeking to strengthen its Real Estate financial operations division by adding a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to the team.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring, oversight, and review of management accounts and accounting processes, including year-end reporting, related to joint ventures and shared ownership structures.
• Providing financial management and control of specific entities, including administration of Limited Partnerships (LPs), management and statutory accounts, and liaising with auditors.
• Supporting transactional activities for new projects, such as assisting with transactions, determining appropriate financial operating models, onboarding newly-acquired corporate structures, and ongoing reporting and third-party liaison.
• Offering technical accounting support to junior team members, especially concerning complex transactions, and assisting in determining appropriate accounting treatments.
• Providing cover for supervisors and other financial accountants as needed.
• Assisting with ad-hoc projects and with half-year and year-end reporting.

Qualifications:

• Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant (or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience in financial statutory accounting and Real Estate Financial Accounting is essential.
