Senior Financial Accountant - Food & Beverage Industry


Your new company

I am recruiting a qualified Financial Accountant to join a well-known Food & Beverage chain. This company is experiencing rapid growth and expansion both locally and globally, and it is an exciting opportunity to be a part of this success story. The client is looking for an experienced financial accountant with strong analytical skills. This role will suit someone who enjoys a social office environment.


Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing the statutory accounts
  2. Preparing the quarterly Investor Report
  3. Regular updating of the company's forecast model
  4. General ledger account management
  5. Cash flow monitoring
  6. Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvements

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you will be an ACA qualified accountant from a Top 10 accountancy practice. This role would suit someone who is practice trained with industry experience, ideally within retail/FMCG/food & bev/leisure. Previous supervision or management experience beneficial, but not essential.
