Description: Senior Financial Accountant - Hybrid Working
Salary: 65k- 75k + Bonus & Excellent Benefits
Location: Hemel Hempstead - Hybrid working, 50% remote

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well-established multinational company that's at the forefront of its industry. With an ambitious growth trajectory and ongoing transformation, this role is integral to supporting the Finance Manager and contributing to the successful consolidation of global financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Play a key role in delivering month-end closing and reporting across the EMEA region.
Responsible for closing and reporting the financial results for the holding company.
Maintain and manage accounting processes, including reporting on sales allowances, stock, and IFRS 16 leases.
Produce financial reports, update accounting policies, and collaborate with external auditors for annual statutory accounts.
Assist with internal audits, business process improvements, and ensure compliance with various regulations (e.g., VAT returns, PAYE, Country-by-Country reporting).
Prepare VAT returns for the UK and the Netherlands, support corporation tax computations, and consider transfer pricing implications.

Key Skills & Experience:
ACA/ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience.
Solid understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable:
Previous experience in a multinational FMCG environment.
Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite ERP.
A background in practice would be advantageous.
