Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Python-focused Software Engineer in Finance Technology to enhance Axiom ControllerView and related regulatory reporting platforms. The role involves data engineering, ETL, and scalable solution design for a global organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python development, ETL experience, and familiarity with SQL, cloud, DevOps, Agile delivery, and emerging AI technologies such as machine learning and LLMs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python development.
• ETL/Data engineering experience.
• Experience with SQL and databases.

Responsibilities

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects related to the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts.
• Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments.
• Review and analyse technical assignments related to low to medium risk deliverables, requiring research and evaluation of alternatives.
• Present recommendations to resolve issues or escalate as needed to meet SLAs.
• Exercise independent judgment while understanding security and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.
