Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking a Senior Engineer, Finance Systems to design, build, and integrate finance applications with a focus on FP&A. The role involves directing vendors/SIs through implementation and ongoing maintenance, while aligning with NetSuite as the ERP hub.

You will collaborate with Finance stakeholders to translate FP&A requirements into technical designs, ensuring security, data protection, and best practices across the finance-application estate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CIS/MIS/related field preferred.
• 5+ years building and integrating business applications with finance-domain exposure (FP&A/ERP).
• Experience with ERP landscapes including NetSuite or similar is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the internal technical owner for finance applications, focusing on FP&A and leading vendor/SI through implementation and maintenance.
• Favor configuration over customization and challenge Finance stakeholders to adapt processes where appropriate.
• Ensure smooth transition from SI to business-as-usual, with ongoing improvements and support.
• Design, develop, configure, and integrate finance applications beyond FP&A, including NetSuite integrations.
• Turn FP&A requirements into technical designs and working solutions with Finance stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development and customization activities.
• Provide security, data protection, and technical guidance to SI partners and colleagues.
