Bedford Borough Council in Bedford is seeking an experienced System Administrator to support, maintain and develop the Council’s core financial management system, ideally Unit4 Agresso, and to assist with HR systems. You will ensure security, reliability, compliance and continuous service improvement across finance and reporting tools.

As a senior team member, you will configure, administer, and enhance complex finance applications, lead upgrades and change initiatives, and provide 2nd/3rd line

Qualificações

• Substantial experience supporting complex finance applications, ideally Unit4 Agresso, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with upgrades, implementations and supplier management is highly desirable, including HR system support.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, support and develop financial systems and reporting solutions.
• Lead system upgrades, patches, testing and change management.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for incidents, problems and service requests.
• Monitor performance, identify improvements and ensure compliance with standards.
• Work with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver enhancements and future developments.
• Support finance projects through technical expertise, planning, resource estimates and implementation.
