Senior Finance Process Lead – VC backed Tech

Are you ready to lead a dynamic Finance Transformation project within a venture-backed Technology business? We are currently seeking a skilled Finance Transformation Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Transformation Process Lead, playing a pivotal role in designing the end-state system landscape and ensuring the fulfilment of high-level requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
- Define Process Framework/Taxonomy: Establish and align the Process Framework/Taxonomy to guide our transformative journey.
- Agile Design Leadership: Work in an Agile environment, leading cross-functional teams to create design deliverables, including user stories. Engage with stakeholders to refine business requirements and finalize functional design aspects.
- Change Approval: Take ownership of approving all changes, ensuring they align with our agreed-upon design.
- Facilitate Stakeholder Review: Conduct regular reviews of deliverables with stakeholders, promptly addressing and resolving any issues.
- Support Build and Test Teams: Assist build and test teams in ensuring traceability of the design to build and test artefacts.
- Release Planning Input: Contribute insights to release planning sessions, supporting the development of the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with Transformation Lead: Work closely with the Transformation Process Lead and Product Owners to regularly review the product backlog, adding, prioritizing, or removing feature-level user stories.
- Story Analysis and Scrum Meetings: Perform detailed story analysis to determine user acceptance and understand the impact on other systems, projects, domains, and operational teams. Engage in daily scrum meetings and coordinate with the product/process owner to review progress at the end of each iteration.
- Show and Tell Sessions: Organize show and tell sessions to ensure development aligns with user expectations.
- Test Plan Approval and Training: Review and approve test plans and test cases. Develop training documentation and deliver end-user training.
- Identify Process Interfaces: Identify and agree on internal and external process interfaces.
- Documentation: Demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality written documentation for all end deliverables.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Transformation Process Lead.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience: Bring 7-10 years of in-depth understanding of integrated processes in functional areas, preferably within a consulting environment.
- Finance Acumen: Showcase operational finance acumen and hands-on experience.
- System Design and Testing: Highlight integrated system process design and testing experience.
- Project Management: Display strong project management skills and experience.
- Change Management: Showcase demonstrated change management skills and experience.
- Coaching and Development: Demonstrate the ability to coach and develop team members.
- Analytical Thinking: Exhibit strong analytical thinking skills.
- Team Collaboration: Prove your ability to work effectively in a team.
Salary: £140000 – £160000 per annum, Bonus and Great Benefits
