Job summary
Cherry Professional Ltd is recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join a rapidly growing manufacturing group on a hybrid basis in Nottingham. The role focuses on commercial finance, costing, WIP and profitability, providing financial insight to support growth and acquisitions.
You will partner with operational leaders, influence strategic decisions and drive performance through robust analytics and business partnering.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience as Finance Business Partner/Senior Finance Manager/FP&A
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and commercial analysis
- Experience partnering with operational and senior leadership teams
- Able to translate financial information into actionable insights
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for operational units
- Partner with senior operational and commercial leaders to drive performance
- Analyse financial and operational performance to identify risks and opportunities
- Develop robust costing models for product and service profitability
- Review cost allocation methodologies and ensure accurate reporting
- Monitor WIP, stock valuation and working capital performance
- Deliver detailed margin, variance and profitability analysis and KPI reporting
- Support investment appraisals, business cases and strategic decision-making
- Drive forecasting and financial controls improvements
