Job summary

LKQ Europe is hiring a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the Logistics Leadership Team in the UK. You will drive financial performance, partner with senior operational leaders, and influence strategic decisions across logistics, warehousing, procurement and distribution.

The role focuses on cost reduction, working capital optimisation and capital investment evaluation, with expected oversight of US GAAP reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification required.
• Significant experience in Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and challenging operational decisions.
• Commercial mindset with proactive problem solving.
• Experience leading finance transformation projects.
• Strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and compliance advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with COO and senior leaders across Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport.
• Lead one direct report and mentor the team.
• Support Head of Logistics & Operations.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting.
• Provide commercial insight into transport, warehousing and distribution costs.
• Drive productivity initiatives and cost optimisation opportunities.
• Develop robust financial models and business cases for capital investments.
• Analyse operational KPIs: cost per delivery, warehouse productivity, inventory, freight costs.
• Influence decisions with data-driven insights.
• Oversee month-end reviews, variance analysis and executive reporting.
• Oversee US GAAP reporting and ensure compliance.
