Thames Learning Trust is seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Officer for its finance team in Slough. The role encompasses financial management, supporting budget holders, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting. Ideal candidates will have a qualification in accountancy and a strong track record in financial administration. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and resilient Senior Finance Officer to join the central finance team based at Baylis Court School in Slough. The successful candidate will report to the Trust’s Director of Finance and support the Finance Controller.
The post holder should have achieved full or part qualified status in one of the professionally recognised accountancy qualifications.
This position involves providing budget monitoring and day-to-day accounting information across the Trust to the Finance Controller, budget holders, the Finance team, and the Director of Finance. You will offer operational support to the Finance Controller and guide the transactional functions of the Finance team.
