Overview

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services and working in partnership with our client's outsourced finance partner, this role will be responsible for the management of the finance, contracts and procurement services. The Senior Finance Officer is accountable for day-to-day accounting and financial management. Our client works with an external Finance Partner, and you will work closely with this company assisting with payroll, annual budgeting/forecasting, and reporting on financial performance. In conjunction with the Head of Corporate Services you will ensure contracts and procurement are compliant and fulfil guidelines and requirements. The Senior Finance Officer should have demonstrable experience in delivering a comprehensive and efficient financial service, with a consistent approach, accurate advice and adherence to best practice. The role will manage 1 part-time finance officer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll, annual budgeting/forecasting, and reporting on financial performance with the external Finance Partner.


• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial management.


• Ensure contracts and procurement are compliant with guidelines and requirements.


• Provide a comprehensive and efficient financial service with accurate advice and best-practice adherence.


• Manage one part-time finance officer.
