Senior Finance Manager (Planning & Development)

Your new opportunity: Quarriers is currently recruiting a Senior Finance Manager to join our team of professionals and lead the planning and development aspects of finance. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and standards, and providing clear, accurate information. You will also lead and manage budget and forecast processes, acting as a finance business partner for services and providing effective commercial management.

As a senior member of the team, you will assist with system development, improvements, and support departments with queries related to local authority contracts.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week in line with our agile working policy, which blends home-working with office time and service visits.

What you will need to be considered:
  • CCAB Qualified accountant
  • Working knowledge of contracts
  • Experience of implementing and developing finance systems
  • Preparation of managing budgets, cashflows, and tenders
  • Excellent IT skills and advanced proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and report preparation
