Responsibilities

  • Provide support and operational business partnering for the Logistics and Planning teams.
  • Business partnering with Logistics and Planning teams to enable better decision-making.
  • Support the team during Strategic Planning, Annual Business Planning, and Forecasting.
  • Develop understanding of Logistics and Planning operations for strategic insights.
  • Identify financial risks and support development of action plans.
  • Monitor financial measures and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage efficiency and improvement projects.
  • Oversee financial reporting and provide tailored reports to stakeholders.
  • Track and report impact of spends and projects.
  • Ensure transactions comply with regulations.

Senior Finance Manager - Logistics & Planning

Location: Uxbridge

Contract type: 16 Month Contract

What you become part of:

Reporting into the Supply Chain Finance Logistics, CDO and Consolidations Lead, the role will provide support and operational business partnering for the Great Britain Business Unit Logistics and Planning teams. Key responsibilities include providing analysis, insights, and finance support during daily operations, project planning and implementation, and through the annual business planning, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles.

What to expect:

  • Business partnering with the Logistics and Planning teams to enable better decision-making.
  • Supporting the Logistics and Planning team during Strategic Planning, Annual Business Planning, Forecasting/Working Capital, and closing reviews to ensure financial risks, opportunities, and projects are appropriately reflected.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of Logistics and Planning operations to provide strategic insights and develop long and short-range plans.
  • Identifying financial risks and supporting development of action plans to mitigate them.
  • Monitoring financial measures, KPIs, trend analysis, and other performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Managing efficiency and other improvement projects, including preparing business cases and evaluating local project proposals in collaboration with the BU Integration Management Office.
  • Overseeing financial reporting, including benchmarking, and providing tailored reports to stakeholders.
  • Tracking and reporting the impact of spends and projects, ensuring control and corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensuring transactions, policies, systems, and procedures meet organizational objectives and comply with regulations and standards.
