Role: Senior Finance Manager - Leases

Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA - Office Based (location subject to change due to planned office relocation)

Contract: Full - Time Hours / Permanent

Salary: £57,475 - £67,925 Dependent on Experience & Discretionary Bonus Scheme

About the Role:

Our Group team is excited to present a new opportunity at EG Group for a Senior Finance Manager (Leases) to join our Head Office. The successful candidate will be key to developing consistent and accurate financial reporting with regards to the Group's extensive lease portfolio and in providing cross-functional support across the Group with commercial decision-making.

Reporting into the Group Financial Reporting Director, the Senior Finance Manager (Leases) will operate as part of the Group Reporting function and will also provide ongoing support to Country Finance and the Group Property & Real Estate function.

This role will have an emphasis on the application of extensive IFRS16 knowledge into readily available comprehensive financial analysis. For the role, the Group is looking for the right candidate to utilise relevant career experiences in improving the existing control environment whilst conducting data maintenance around our IFRS16 database (Qube) as part of a broader ICFR programme.

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for the update and maintenance of the Group's extensive lease portfolio and accurate accounting adherence under IFRS16
• Control and ownership over data managed and exported from the Group's lease management software MRI Horizon/Qube
• Lead on the delivery of monthly reconciliations and support workings for country finance teams
• Ensure RoU asset and liability consistency across reported numbers at local and consolidated level
• Provide ongoing ownership of the process and control environment from record to report across right of use assets and liabilities under IFRS16
• Support in determining the Group's IBR and responsibility for ensuring its appropriate application
• Lead a standardised approach for IAS 17 methodology to support the monthly external reporting across the Group's KPI's
• Regular system data integrity testing and validation

What we're looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience
• Previous expereince working in real estate finance
• Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities
• Ability to work in a growing, fast-paced environment
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ambitious and self-motivated individual
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
