As part of the finance team, you’ll help shape strategic decisions, drive profitability, and support innovation across one of the UK’s most iconic retail businesses.

We’re looking for a commercially savvy and strategically minded Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning and performance for our Fashion, Home & Beauty business. This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Logistics, Retail, Property, Marketing, Digital, and Technology to drive insight, shape strategy, and support decision-making.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Own the full planning cycle: forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Lead financial reporting, including period-end close and KPI tracking.
  • Shape the narrative for Investor Relations and produce monthly leadership packs.
  • Drive strategic business reviews and collaborate on market, customer, and product strategies.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives in data, analytics, and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and internal service teams.
  • Develop and mentor a team of six, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Act as a key voice in the Fashion, Home & Beauty leadership team, deputising for the Head of Finance when needed.

  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of governance, controls, and financial reporting.
  • Experience leading change and transformation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
