Job summary

Brellis Recruitment Ltd invites applications for a Finance Manager, Warwickshire-based, reporting to the MD and working with the senior leadership team. The role supervises the Accounts Assistant and covers all financial operations.

The package includes £45k–£50k per annum, 37.5 hours weekly, office-based, with pension, health plan and on-site parking. A proactive, detail-focused leader is sought to drive accurate reporting and cash flow control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Finance Manager in a similar sized business.
• ACA or CIMA qualification.
• Proficient with Sage 50 Cloud Professional accounting software.
• Strong IT literacy; Excel and Outlook proficient.
• Knowledge of reverse VAT (DRC) procedures.
• Experience supervising finance staff.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail under deadlines.
• Proactive problem solving; ability to work independently and in a senior team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Purchase Ledger and ensure correct subcontractor invoicing and CIS deductions.
• Reconcile supplier statements and manage payments per terms and MD guidance.
• Oversee Sales Ledger and Application generation; ensure timely invoicing.
• Maintain credit control and chase payments on Applications and valuations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet checks monthly.
• Prepare CIS and VAT returns; support year-end financial statements.
• Maintain Fixed Asset registers and depreciation; manage prepayments and accruals.
• Provide cash flow reporting and cost analyses; assist with annual audit.
