Job summary

The CFO HQ in Warwick seeks a Finance Manager to lead financial operations, reporting to the Managing Director and collaborating with accountants, auditors and senior leadership. The role supervises the Finance Assistant and drives month-end processes. 

Responsibilities include ledger management, CIS/VAT, cash flow reporting, prepayments and accruals, and assisting with year-end audits. Office-based, 37.5 hours per week, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Finance Manager role with at least 5 years in a similar environment.
• ACA or CIMA qualification required.
• Proficient with Sage 50 Cloud Professional; strong IT skills (Outlook & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchase ledger and subcontractor CIS processing.
• Manage sales ledger and monthly applications for payment.
• Lead credit control and chase payments to terms.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet controls.
• Prepare CIS and VAT returns; support year-end accounts.
• Assist with annual audit and financial analysis.
• Provide monthly cash flow reporting to MD.
• Oversee job costing and fixed asset schedules.
• Cover Finance Assistant during absences as needed.
