Working as part of a small finance team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the financial health of the business by maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and delivering insightful reporting. This role will provide the financial elements needed to support strategic decision-making, efficient operations, and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities will be broad and include:

  • Lead the month-end close process, including reviews, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts with clear analysis and accurate data.
  • Manage payroll processing (across UK and US offices) and ensure timely and accurate staff payments.
  • Oversee and authorise supplier payment runs, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Review and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements.
  • Administer, review and track team expense pots.
  • Perform ad hoc finance tasks, including updating analysis spreadsheets and supporting wider finance projects when needed.

Applicants must be fluent in Excel and Xero, be comfortable working independently, have a flexible approach, be able to multi-task, and be comfortable working to deadlines. A background working in a creative agency environment will also be beneficial.
