Job summary

Stanford Real Estate Partners Limited in Manchester is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance team and partner with the Finance Director on reporting, forecasting and transformation initiatives.

You will manage monthly and quarterly management accounts, oversee month-end close, ensure VAT/CIS compliance, and drive process improvements across the finance function, mentoring junior staff and collaborating with auditors, tax advisers and senior directors.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with PQE in real estate or property sector.
• Experience in managing finance teams and reporting to senior directors.
• Strong communication skills and excellent Excel knowledge.
• Experience with VAT/CIS and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review and present monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Review month end closing processes.
• Analytical review of key financial metrics.
• Ensure service charge accounting up to date and fully reconciled.
• Produce and review regular cash flow projections.
• Be the first point of contact with auditors, tax advisers and service providers.
• Review VAT/CIS and other statutory compliance.

Stanford Real Estate Partners are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager for a large Property Investment/Management business based in Manchester. The role will report to the Finance Director and take responsibility for the management and growth of the finance team and statutory and internal reporting, as the business grows, the individual will be involved in refinancing, project accounting and transformation projects.

Responsibilities will include:

Review and present monthly and quarterly management accounts

Reviewing all month end closing processes

Analytical review of key financial metrics

Ensure service charge accounting up to date and fully reconciled

Production and review of regular cash flow projections

Be first point of contact with auditors, tax advisors and other service providers

Review of VAT/CIS and other statutory compliance

Develop and mentor members of the finance team

Implementing process improvements to drive efficiencies

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant ideally with extensive PQE experience within the real estate sector. You will have team management experience and will be able to work closely with senior directors. Excellent communication skills and good knowledge of Excel are a must.
