Job summary

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) seeks an experienced finance professional for a development opportunity within the Learning Disabilities & Autism Directorate. Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance & Contracting, you will provide high-quality financial business partnering, lead planning, monthly reporting and cost improvement planning.

This twelve-month secondment is ideal for someone looking to broaden experience in NHS financing, costing and service line

Qualifications

  • Professional accountancy qualification or level 7 equivalent (CCAB / CIMA).
  • Knowledge of NHS financial regime and current issues.
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
  • Project management and report writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, monthly reporting and cost improvement planning for the LD & Autism Directorate.
  • Provide high-quality financial business partnering to help optimise budget use and service delivery.
  • Support adoption of service line and patient-level costing and related analyses.

With the permanent postholder seconded into a more senior post, we are pleased to be able to offer this development opportunity for a self-motivated individual wishing to extend their skills and/or work in a different clinical area.
