Accenture UK is seeking a Finance Data Scientist for UKI Finance RP to advance ML-driven forecasting. You will own forecasting models from framing and data prep to production, and work with finance stakeholders to align with planning calendars and FP&A needs.

Role combines statistical rigor with finance-process understanding, delivering explainable models and production-ready capabilities in a Finance Reinvention context.

Qualificações

• Depth in time series and forecasting methods across classical and modern approaches.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production or near-production deployment experience.
• Experience with data quality checks and multi-source datasets.
• Ability to explain model behaviour to finance stakeholders and justify uncertainty.

Responsabilidades

• Build forecasting models on client financial and operational data across revenue, cost, cash and drivers.
• Prepare and validate multi-source data, engineer internal/external drivers, and model hierarchies.
• Design back-testing and time-series cross-validation, assess accuracy and business impact.
• Run scenario analyses with CFO-level interrogation, including stress tests and counterfactuals.
• Produce variance explanations and commentary for FP&A stakeholders.
• Integrate models into client planning cycles and EPM platforms with pipelines and deployment.
