They need a dedicated, professional and talented team behind them, and that’s where you come in – we are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team, working as part of the RNLI business partnering community.
Our Senior Finance Business Partner community collaborates with departments across the RNLI, partnering to provide a financial management, decision support, and analysis services to enable informed decision making by the Senior Leadership and their teams to help the RNLI deliver its lifesaving effect.
As one of our team of Senior Finance Business Partners, you will provide analysis and value add insight through financial reporting that provides assurance to key stakeholders as they navigate the financial year tracking delivery to plans, budgets, and forecasts, whilst remaining aligned to the RNLI’s strategic direction.

About the role
- Collaborate with departments across the RNLI through a centralised Financial Planning and Analysis team
- Drive analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to the organisation's strategy
- Guide and support your customers throughout the planning, budget, and forecasting processes in collaboration with our Planning and People colleagues
- Support change to ensure operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
- The role is hybrid and has an expectation of attending in-person meetings in the Poole office as our designated base, approx. once a week. We also travel to other destinations on an ad hoc basis
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Be a qualified member of a recognised accounting body (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) (Essential)
- A strong background in financial business partnering to provide decision support and planning in a similar fast-paced environment
- The ability to build strong working relationships and influence effectively at all levels
- Comprehensive Microsoft Excel modelling capability, along with the desire to support Financial Performance Reporting change
- A full Driving Licence (for UK and Ireland)
