The role

In this position you will support the Head of Business Partnering in providing finance support to the Functional Executive team member and their teams. You will also deliver key financial processes including month end, rolling forecasts and the three year Plan.

You’ll help us make health happen by

  • Presenting total technology function results for both regular and ad hoc cost reporting to BGIUK CIO and Technology Leadership Team
  • Reviewing and finalising Exec level commentary for Tech function including but not limited to; monthly flash, ELOS and functional/cost centre reporting
  • Providing proactive financial support by understanding MU and functional strategy, interlinks with transformation activity and BAU, performing financial modelling including investment appraisals and scenario modelling
  • Working closely with TCO Analysts to ensure combining of contracts/licenses details into Plan and forecast reporting
  • Understanding Group/MU Finance landscape and proactively engaging relevant teams to support and deliver actuals, forecast, plan or modelling activities including FP&R, systems and tax
  • Being data led, ensuring budget holders have relevant information required to make decisions and where possible, automate provision of data

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • Hold a professional accountancy qualification – ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in industry or practice within finance roles; business partnering, Financial Analysis, planning/forecasting, Management accounting and Financial Reporting
  • Business Partnering experience to an Executive team – confident to present analytics and options, robustly challenge, holds an inquisitive mindset and strong understanding of corporate functions
  • Financial modelling and investment appraisals to support key decisions
  • Flexible and pragmatic – able to work under significant pressure and intensity, handling multiple priorities both BAU and change and taking a risk based approach
