Senior Finance Business Partner (Sales & Marketing)

Ricoh is currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner (Sales & Marketing) responsible for leading the commercial finance function. This role involves supporting, challenging, engaging with, and reporting on the business to enhance the effectiveness and success of the Sales and Marketing functions. As a senior member of the finance team, you will work closely with senior management to understand market and external factors influencing the company's performance.
You will also support the Commercial Finance team and your direct reports by providing guidance, coaching, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a broad overview across divisions, providing insights into performance, processes, systems, and methodologies.
  2. Provide commercial guidance and insight linking offerings to business strategies.
  3. Facilitate information flow and collaboration across functions to ensure synergy and alignment.
  4. Challenge leadership to ensure business cases are clear, robust, and include risk assessments with mitigation plans.
  5. Own the business planning cycle, including forecasting, budgeting, and mid-term planning, developing financial models and KPIs.
  6. Improve the financial planning process and models for accuracy, efficiency, and relevance.
  7. Create management information packs highlighting financial performance, risks, opportunities, and action plans.
  8. Evaluate growth initiatives, identify opportunities, and recommend investments aligned with strategic priorities.
  9. Lead the Finance Business Partners community, setting standards and sharing best practices.
  10. Monitor portfolio performance and identify profit maximization opportunities.
  11. Contribute to pricing and margin decisions through financial modelling.
  12. Provide guidance and coaching to Finance Business Partners.
  13. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  14. Support the wider Commercial Finance team on ad-hoc projects.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration, finance, or related fields.
  • Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Leadership experience managing and developing teams, with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to articulate financial stories to senior management and handle ambiguity and risk.
  • Strong analytical skills, decision-making ability, and business understanding.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with developing reporting systems and management information.
  • Knowledge of the IT sector, Process Automation, or Print is highly desirable.
  • Exhibits high positive behavioral indicators aligned with Ricoh Way principles.
