Job description

We are seeking a highly commercial and strategic Senior Finance Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to our dynamic Marketing leadership team. Your primary goal is to drive financial performance, optimise spend, and provide critical insights to fuel our growth.

You will be deeply integrated into the Marketing function in this true business partnering role. You'll be expected to challenge assumptions, influence key commercial decisions, and shape strategy through compelling storytelling and robust financial analysis.

We are seeking a hands-on individual who can collaborate effectively within a team yet also possesses the autonomy and confidence to engage directly with the business. This role will be both challenging and rewarding as you manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to support our ambitious growth strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnership & Decision Support:
  • Serve as a dedicated and embedded thought partner to the marketing leadership team and direct reports, proactively identifying opportunities for value creation and risk mitigation, going beyond simple budget oversight to influence long-term strategic direction.
  • Bridge the gap between Finance and the business by demystifying financial data, translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Construct financial models for strategic initiatives including sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to understand the potential range of outcomes and present a clear view of the financial risks and rewards.
  • Support on robust business cases that go to the executive leadership team, working alongside and in collaboration with analytics and strategy to articulate not just the financial projections but also the strategic rationale, competitive landscape, potential risks, and operational requirements needed for success.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Own the entire financial planning cycle for Marketing and other areas of the business as required, including the annual budget, quarterly re-forecasts, and the 3-year strategic plan. You will set clear timetables, provide guidance, and rigorously challenge assumptions from each marketing sub-function to deliver a consolidated, bottoms-up plan that aligns with top-down corporate targets.
  • Prepare and present compelling monthly review packs for the leadership team. Your focus will be on the 'why' behind the numbers, providing deep-dive analysis on performance drivers and delivering forward-looking commentary on emerging trends, risks, and strategic opportunities.
Process Improvement & Leadership
  • Constantly identify and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting, and tools to increase efficiency and the level of insight provided to the business.
  • Champion financial literacy and commercial acumen across the Marketing function through informal training and day-to-day partnership, empowering marketers to make better, faster decisions.
Requirements:
  • CIMA or ACCA accounting qualified
  • You will be an ambitious, dedicated individual that is excited about the opportunity to develop in a fast-paced global business that is constantly changing
  • Proven experience in a commercially focused Finance Business Partner or FP&A role
  • Exceptional financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills with an expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google sheets
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Great awareness of deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Natural curiosity to seek out improvements and proactively taking initiative.
